Miami Police Officer Charged With Misconduct

Miami police officer Alejandro Giraldo was recently charged with official misconduct after being caught on video violently arresting a black woman. The victim, Dyma Loving, had called the police for help after an alleged verbal altercation with a white neighbor who she said had threatened her with a gun. Her phone call to the police for help resulted in Loving being put in a headlock and shoved against a metal fence before she was forced to the ground. The victim is happy that Giraldo has been charged but considers it no more than a slap on the wrist.
